Worship

Renewal

Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them in truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17). Our worship is rooted in Biblical truth. The Word is living and active amongst His people. We seek to magnify the word in our worship for the renewal of the congregation.

Worship

Our music team seeks to glorify God in our song leadership during the worship service. We are not worship leaders; we are merely lead worshippers. Christ is the focus of our worship, and He leads our worship. (Heb. 2:12)

Service

King David had a worship band (2 Sam 6:5), and so do we! If you are a skilled musician or vocalist and would like to volunteer, please below for more information.

Worship Blog

If you’d like to connect more deeply with the hymns and spiritual songs we sing in our Sunday worship services, our worship director, Adam Osterloo, writes a blog you may want to check out. Each post is a devotional or story related to the music in our repertoire. Click below to learn more.

Biblical truths poetically sung in melody and rhythm nourish our souls like no other form of communication.

Psalm 149:1 commands us to “Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints!” Paul echoes the Psalmist's words to the Colossian church: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Col. 3:16).

On the great importance of music in the church, Martin Luther writes, “Music is a gift and grace of God, not an invention of men. The devil, the originator of sorrowful anxieties and restless troubles, flees before the sound of music
almost as much as before the Word of God.”

Singing the Scriptures, the very sword of the Spirit equips us for the battles of life as it glorifies the Almighty Creator and King. To that end, we sing!
